Full Insulation for Year-Round Usage

It’s vital that your garden office is well-insulated and energy-efficient. All our garden office buildings are equipped, as standard, with a breathable membrane in the walls and trusses for additional weather protection and ventilation.

Adding quality insulation to your garden office is also a popular extra. We use slab insulation that is 75mm thick for the walls and 50mm for the roof. We also offer double-glazed windows as an optional extra to our Prime Range or as standard in our Royal and Premier options. We want to help you design the perfect garden office that is comfortable, practical, and crafted exactly for you.

Do I need planning permission for a garden office?

In most cases, planning permission is not required, as garden offices fall under permitted development rights. However, certain conditions apply such as size, height, and placement within your property. Our team can advise you based on your specific site and local regulations.

Can I use my garden office for other purposes?

Yes, many customers use their garden office as a studio, gym, workshop, guest space, or even attach to a stable block. The flexible design and quality insulation make it suitable for a variety of uses.

What foundations are required for a garden office?

We recommend a concrete base and at least 1 course of semi-engineering bricks. We can also build on sleepers and other base systems, please contact our friendly office for more information or read more on concrete bases.

What maintenance is required?

Our timber buildings are built to last, but like any wooden structure, they benefit from regular care. We recommend re-treating the exterior wood and keeping your roof and guttering clear of debris and build up.

Each of our three ranges of garden offices comes with its own benefits, all promising premium craftsmanship, top-quality materials, and customisable details.

Prime Range

Blending exceptional quality and value, our Prime Range garden offices are crafted with strength-graded timber and feature top-grade redwood shiplap cladding. They include fixed cottage-style acrylic windows, guttering, and a breathable membrane within the walls and trusses.

The Apex black Onduline roof comes in a 15-degree roof pitch and is lined with moisture-resistant Smartply for strong weather protection. All the timber is treated with a beautiful and eco-friendly golden brown finish for a classic look that fits right into your garden.

Royal Range

The Royal Range includes everything you find in the Prime Range, along with some of our most popular extras. This includes double-glazed fixed light windows, a door made from softwood panels and glazed with toughened glass, and a multi-point locking system for extra security. The walls and trusses are lined with 9mm Wisa Spruce Plywood, and the roof, with a 20-degree pitch, includes an Onduline ridge and plywood lining.

Premier Range

Our top-tier Premier Range boasts double-glazed casement windows, staddle stones, and a felt shingle or Onduvilla roof available in a variety of colours. The walls and trusses are lined with 12mm Wisa Spruce Plywood. It also comes with a 25-degree roof pitch and overhang lined with shiplap, making this garden office the ultimate, luxurious choice.
