How should I maintain the roof to prevent leaks and damage?

Regularly clear leaves, moss and debris from the roof to prevent water pooling. Make sure guttering is kept clear to avoid water spillover. Proper roof and guttering maintenance ensures your building remains weatherproof and durable.

Clean your stable and timber building using mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the wood or finishes. Sweep out debris regularly and ensure good ventilation to prevent damp and odours.

How do I maintain and treat the timber to ensure longevity?

Regularly treat your timber (18 months-2 years) with a quality wood preservative or stain to protect it from moisture, rot and UV damage. Inspect the timber annually and touch up any areas showing wear to keep your building in top condition. Contact us to find out what preservative we use. It is important to check that any treatment you use is safe for animals.
