Frequently Asked Questions

What size should an internal stable be?

We recommend 3.6m x 3.6m for regular sized horses. For ponies we recommend 3.0m x 3.0m. Larger horses may find a 4.0m x 3.6m stable more comfortable. Our foaling boxes start at 4.5m x 3.6m.

What flooring is best for internal stables?

We usually build internal stables on concrete bases. Furnishing stables with easy-sweep rubber floor mats is a great way of ensuring comfort and reduce amount of bedding required.

Are internal stables safe for horses prone to kicking or cribbing?

As standard, all are internal stables are kickboarded to 1.2m high in exterior grade Wisa Spruce Ply, multi-layered 5 times for structural integrity.

As standard, all bottom doors are fitted with anti-chew strips. We can install top door frame protection (comes with Royal range) on request, please explore our additional extras.

Prime Range

Our Prime Range internal stables are made from top-grade redwood shiplap cladding and treated with eco-friendly, animal-safe preservatives to produce a beautiful golden brown finish. As our value-for-money introductory range, they include kickboards, front grills, and galvanised bottom doors.

Royal Range

Our Royal Range is made with the same incredible quality materials as the Prime Range but also includes some of our most popular extras, such as increased eaves height, hook and band hinges, top door frame protection, and large front grills.
