Stable door specifications for our stable block ranges vary, depending on the type you would like to see and use on your own property.
Our Premier Range Stable Doors
Our Premier Range is designed to offer your horse the ultimate in luxury stable living, and as such the doors will be crafted for even more ease of comfort, security, and protection. This means being manufactured from 125mm x 25mm tongue, groove and v-jointed timber, which is ledged and braced. Both top and bottom doors are also lined with exterior grade plywood to give an overall thickness of 50mm. The standard stable door size for this range is 1.2m wide x 2.2m high, with the top door height reaching 0.9m and the bottom door reaching a height of 1.3m.
Bottom doors in the Premier Range are furnished with one strong anti-chew strip, one heavy duty kick-over latch, one 225mm brenton bolt, one 150mm cabin hook and one pair of 600mm heavy hook & band hinges. They also come with extra deep door protection included.
Top doors in the Premier Range will come fitted with one 100mm oval pad bolt, one 150mm cabin hook, and one pair of 600mm heavy hook and band hinges. Full door frame protection will also be included when this range is chosen.
If your Premier style stable comes with a tack room, the doors will be ledged, braced and fitted with a throw lock.
Our Royal Range Stable Doors
The doors of our Royal Range selection are all manufactured from 125mm x 25mm tongue, groove and v-jointed timber, which is also ledged and braced. Both top and bottom doors will come lined with exterior grade plywood to give an overall thickness of 50mm, and the standard door size for this range is 1.1m wide x 2.1m high.
Top doors will have a standard height of 0.8m, while bottom door height will be 1.3m as standard.
Like the doors of our Prime Range, the bottom doors of our Royal Range come furnished with one strong anti-chew strip, one heavy duty kick-over latch, one 225mm Brenton bolt, one 150mm cabin hook, and one pair of 600mm heavy duty tee hinges.
Similarly, top doors will come with one 100mm oval pad bolt, one 150mm cabin hook, and one pair of 600mm heavy duty tee hinges.
Top door frame protection will be included when you decide that this is the stable block for you, and all door furniture is fully galvanised.
